Block Vision’s Member Services unit is dedicated to assisting both members and participating providers with any inquiry regarding our vision program. To ensure quick, easy access to all kinds of information that can help you get the most from your vision plan, we offer the following tools for obtaining program information:

  • Website

    Our website is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you in identifying conveniently-located participating providers and to help you understand your benefits coverage.

  • Automated Telephone Voice Response Unit (VRU)

    Our automated telephone Voice Response Unit (known as the "VRU") is also available to assist you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A narrator will guide you through a series of prompts in which you will use your telephone keypad to enter important information (such as your id number) that will help us respond to your inquiry. Like the website, the VRU can assist you in identifying conveniently-located participating providers and to help you understand your benefits coverage.

    If you have a healthplan ID card for your vision coverage (HMO, CHIP, Medicare, Medicaid), please call 800-879-6901.

    If you have a Block Vision ID card for your vision coverage (Employer Group Vision Program), please call 866-265-0517.

  • Friendly & Professional Member Services Representatives

    Personal assistance is only a phone call away! Our telephone call center is staffed by courteous and knowledgeable professionals who can help you with any program inquiry. Both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking representatives are waiting to assist you, with translation service available for other languages and assistance for the hearing impaired.

    If you have a healthplan ID card for your vision coverage (HMO, CHIP, Medicare, Medicaid), please call 800-879-6901 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

    If you have a Block Vision ID card for your vision coverage (Employer Group Vision Program), please call 866-265-0517 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (Central Standard Time).

    If you are unable to locate your ID card for your vision coverage please call 800-879-6901 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

    As with our website and automated telephone voice response unit, our representatives can assist you in identifying conveniently-located participating providers and in understanding your benefits coverage.

    While we make every effort to ensure that your experience with our program meets with your complete satisfaction, we are here to assist you if you experience any difficulties in using your benefits or if you are dissatisfied in any way with your experience. Our service representatives will listen attentively to your concern and will take whatever steps are necessary to ensure that your concern is fully resolved as quickly as possible.
